Note that the true first edition of this book is not the trade edition, but the Phantasia Press limited edition, which hit store shelves first. However, the first trade editions are still highly collectible. Book club editions are very common. First printing trade editions are becoming increasingly rare so be very careful to look for the correct markers: a $13.95 price on the dust jacket, orange quarter cloth over black boards, and no number line on the copyright page. Some BCEs will have a gutter code. The first US trade edition does not have a gutter code. Note that these can vary significantly in price due to condition: it becoming increasingly rare to find first printings of the trade edition in Fine/Fine condition or even Near Fine/Near Fine condition. Such copies can fetch a premium.
