The Bachman Books

Stephen King (Richard Bachman)

The Bachman Books is a dark and gritty collection of four early novels written by Stephen King under the pseudonym Richard Bachman: Rage, The Long Walk, Roadwork, and The Running Man. The stories explore psychological collapse, authoritarian systems, violence, desperation, and survival, often with a harsher and more cynical tone than King’s mainstream work. Long considered one of the most collectible King volumes, especially in its early printings, the omnibus showcases a rawer, angrier side of King’s writing from the late 1970s and early 1980s.
